An Overwhelming Step

As said in the previous post, I have graduated and will be registering for classes very soon. My mom attempted to explain the process to me but I was confused. I guess I just expected this type of knowledge to be innate or just to come to me with my diploma. Surprise! It didn't. It's beginning to hit me that life is software that's preinstalled. It comes at you fast and most likely you're not prepared.
But it's that way for everyone right? Maybe everyone else is just better at acting like they know what they're doing than I am. Because the way I recall, it seemed completely instinctive when I watched others deal with Life. Maybe not, maybe I'm just a little overwhelmed with so many decisions coming at me so quickly.
The choices I make in a month are supposed to help mold my source of income for the rest of my life. No biggie. I got this...I was born for this.

The Diplomas are in.

It is official. I'm a highschool graduate. I have my diploma, fortunately endorsed with a nice scholarship and I register for my college classes in a couple of months. Call me cheesy, but I do actually feel older. Maybe sitting through that long ceremony aged me. I'll never know, but I do know that I have no idea what is going to happen in the years ahead. I am confident that my school prepared me for whatever college will hand me and that my the friends I have made will last despite the distance.

I was thrilled to have my family there and even more thrilled about the student bdy I'd be sharing this occasion with. Now it is time for us to take what our school gave us and apply it I suppose. Atleast that's what they tell us. How many of us will actually "change the world" (as they told us to) I'm not sure. I know we are certainly capable and will give it a good hard try. Thirteen years of school for that moment-and it was awesome. Now it's time for me to send out the thank you cards to the people who wanted to help finance the changes I'm to make in the world.
